My go-to look in the summer is definitely shorts and a simple top like this white bodysuit from Amazon - it's only $15 and it comes in 20 colors, yes you read that right... 20! Mine is in a size small and it fits perfectly. The white isn't see through at all and it's a thong bottom which makes it super easy to wear with multiple different bottoms!!
My shorts are from American Eagle and they're 25% off today which makes them only $41 !! They're adorable, super comfy and go with literally everything! Plus I love that you can tighten the waist band! I struggle with jeans/shorts fitting properly because my thighs are bigger and my waist is smaller so I always have that awkward gap, but this little belt fixes that! I got mine in a size 8 and they're perfect!
